An Online Recital Series
Rallentando—a musical indication to ease and relax—was an online recital series created and curated by Frank Huang in 2018 and concluded in 2021. The series presented intimate piano performances and invited audiences to pause, listen, and experience classical music from home.

A Moment in Time
Rallentando began before the pandemic as an intimate platform for musical exploration and performance. When live concerts came to an abrupt halt, the series took on new significance, providing a way to continue sharing music and connecting with audiences. During this period, it became a home for projects such as Odyssey of Dissent, exploring the relationship between music and protest. Rallentando ultimately became an opportunity to rethink how performances could be presented, experienced, and connected to broader ideas. That spirit of exploration continues to shape my work today.
