About this work:
Radiant moods predominate this set of four short pieces. The first piece evokes an idyllic scene with its tuneful, and at times, wistful melodies, while the next sharply contrasts with its sudden burst of exuberance and laughter. Then comes an introspective soliloquy that is reminiscent of Chopin. The final tableau alternates between melancholic musings interrupted constantly by devilish outbursts.
